Béal an Átha Móir Seán Ó hEislin

It was a tremendous day at Croke pairc for any Leitrim fan that made the trip to HQ To watch a Leitrim team lift a trophy . It was a great achievement for the players and management team and something they and Leitrim fans will never forget, as one Ballinamore man most eloquently put it “There are Leitrim hurlers on the balconies of Heaven smiling down today Liatroim abú!”

We must pass on a special we’ll done to Ballinamore hurlers Paul and Fergal Early from Aughnasheelin on a fantastic achievement, two finer men you would never meet and finally to the greatest Ballinamore man to ever come out of Tipperary Paddy O’Connor a massive and deserved well done, Paddy has been the backbone of Hurling for 30 years or more in this area and does so much for the club giving his time freely in all aspects from training to lotto, I think everyone in the club would like to pass on their thanks to Paddy and all of the team on a great achievement.
